''Christmas Wishes'' - A DT Home Decor for 2Crafty Chipboard with a Video Tutorial

My second project for 2Crafty Chipboard is a Christmas home decor created with lots of chipboards
along with some beautiful Christmas flowers and lots of glitter.

You can see the procedure on my VIDEO...

I based my page on the Mixed Media Place December challenge.

2Crafty Chipboards used...
 Holly Twig
Deer Head Set
Mini Reindeers
Stellar Snowflakes
Fernlike Snowflakes

 Here are some close ups...

I started by applying a coat of white gesso on the wooden slices.
Then, I created texture with modeling paste mixed with mini art stones.

While waiting the paste to dry, I heat embossed all the chipboards with the ''Queen Sheba's Silver'' Lindy's Gang embossing powder. Then, I sprinkled some white glitter on them.

I used some Lindy's Gang sprays such as ''Salt Water Taffy'', ''Alpine Ice Rose'' and ''Autumn Maple Crimson'' to add color on the wooden slices.

As a final touch, I used Snowflake Paste here and there and some made splaters with white gesso diluted with water.

Well, that was all from me today...

I really hope you enjoyed these projects and all the previous I've shared with you.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

''Christmas Joy'' - A DT Layout for 2Crafty Chipboard with a Video Tutorial

Hello dear friends!!!

Tonight, I'm up on the 2Crafty blog with my last post as a design team member. It's so hard for me to step down from a team that I have been a member for more than one year. It has been one of the best teams ever and I am so honored I was a part of it. I had a really great time creating with these gorgeous chipboards and I really hope to return in the future.

But for now, let's take a look at the projects I made for my December inspiration.
I created a layout and a Christmas home decor on wooden slides and both are having video tutorials.

My first layout was made with lots of flowers, some Christmas embellishments combined
with some beautiful chipboard pieces.

You can watch the VIDEO TUTORIAL with the procedure here.

I based my page on the 13arts ARTelier December sketch challenge.

2Crafty Chipboards used...
 Stars
Swirly Star Border
Xmas Mini Word Pack

 Here are some close ups...

First, I made a mixed media background with modeling paste and a stencil and made some random stamping. Then, I added color with the ''Pastel Cobalt'' and the ''Pastel Lavender'' 13arts mists.

I painted the ''Stars'' and the ''Swirly Star Border'' chipboards with the ''Gold'' splash ink.

The title words from the ''Xmas Mini Word Pack'' was also painted with the ''Silver'' splash ink.

Finally, I added some ''Natural Mika Flakes'' and made  some splatters with ''White'' splash ink.

Well, that was all about the first one...

...come in a while for the second layout coming in a while...

''Noel'' - DT Mixed Media Tag for Lindy's Stamp Gang

Hi there lovelies!

Today, I would like to share a Christmas tag I made for the Lindy’s Gang using my favorite Starburst spray and embossing powder – aren’t they a beautiful match.

Start by applying modeling paste with a stencil and then, heat emboss the pattern with the Angel Wings Gold embossing powder. I love using that technique because the shimmer of the powder on the paste is just amazing!

Add some splatters with the Bayou Boogie Gold spray to give some color - the shimmer in this one is crazy gorgeous.

Heat emboss the title word with the Angel Wings Gold embossing powder from Lindy’s.

When everything is glued down, add some Gold Rush glass glitter and Copper micro beads – to help accent the Lindy’s colors. As a final touch make some splatters with white gesso diluted with water.

''Dream a Little Dream'' - DT Layout for Maja Design December Inspiration

Hello dear friends!

Today, I'm up on the Maja Design blog and I have a new layout to share with you.
A Christmas page made with the new collection ”Joyous Winterdays”.

As usual, I found that photo on Pinterest and combined it with two papers of that gorgeous collection, lots of beautiful flowers, some chipboards and several Christmas embellishments. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

For my background, I used the ”Pick a Tree” paper on the back side and made two layers on it with torn pieces from the ”Outdoors” paper  using both sides of it. First, I gave my background a coat of clear gesso. When it was dried, I added some texture with snowflake paste and a stencil. I continued by coloring my page with Lindy’s sprays ”Sea Grass Green” and ”Rusty Lantern Lime”.

I painted the snowflake chipboards with the opal magic ''Aqua-Rose'' acrylic paint. The flourish chipboards and the title was also painted with the ''Fairy Wings'' acrylic paint sparks. As usual all the chipboards I used are 2crafty.

When everything was glued down, I made some splatters with white gesso diluted with some water.

Papers used:

That’s all for today, my friends!

Thank you for stopping by!

''5 Forever'' - DT Layout for Lindy's Stamp Gang Color Challenge & More Than Words Challenge Blog

Hello dear friends!

We finally are on the last month of this year and new challenges are up on the Lindy's Stamp Gang
and the More Than Words challenge blogs.

As you propably have already guess this time I combined these two challenges because they were matching perfectly.

 Word Inspiration - FAMILY
Creative Challenge - NUMBERS

In my mind, FAMILY and Christmas are tightly connected, so when I saw that word, I decided to create a Christmasy layout. I used a photo of a baby to represent my three kids when they were so little on their first Christmas. I added the NUMBER 5 for the creative challenge as we are 5 in our family.

Here are some close ups...

I used the ''Ephemera'' paper from the Maja Design ''Joyous Winterdays'' collection.

To start, I covered my page with clear gesso. When it dried, I created texture with modeling paste and a stencil. Next, I used the ''TiffanyLou Blue'', ''Medieval Gold Glitz'' and the ''Poinsettia Red Gold'' Lindy’s sprays to color my page.

I heat embossed the ''Deer Head'' chipboard with the ''Caesar's Gold'' Lindy's Gang embossing powder and all the other chipboards with the ''Desert Moon Turquoise'' powder. Then, I rubbed a little white gold wax on the star chipboard. All the chipboards used are 2Crafty and the flowers are Prima Marketing.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones and made some splatters with white acrylic artist ink.

Thank you so much for your time!
